Lyrics: Game of Grace

Hey Mr. carpenter guess my name
I am a loser in your game
My tries to succeed were disqualified
for not being born on the winning side

What is the sin that made me earn my loss?
Was it the one that you suffered for me on the cross?
You threw me here with an empty hand
Because of your grace, I am, what I am

show your grace, keep your word, show your grace

Hey Mr. carpenter guess my name
I am a soldier in your game
the rules are simple, bow and obey
fight for an unknown cause every day

Why should abstain from use of violence?
Why should I deny the reason of my existence?
You threw me here and spilled blood on my hands
Because of your grace, I am, what I am

Come on, keep your word and return
Come on, come on
Give us the grace that we deserve

Hey Mr. carpenter guess my name
I am a winner in your game
The rules are simple, crush and devour
strike first and strike with all your power

Why should I share my wealth and welfare?
Why would I give and pretend that i care?
You made the rules, not me goddamn!
Because of your grace, I am, what I am

show your grace, keep your word, keep your word

Come on, keep your word and return
Come on, come on
Give us the grace that we deserve

Lyrics: The Saddest Melody on Earth

I am a preacher waiting for the end
I seek to cure the ones who pretend
that they have the power to give
their lives a meaning, a reason to live

Bury your childish dreams
and turn your ears to me
listen to my melody

Close your eyes and cease to try
gnash your teeth and hope to die
The day of reckoning is near
your wealth will turn into despair

Libera me Domine
Veniat dies irae
I believed in every word
with the saddest melody on earth

Now I’m an old man, struggling with my past
old enough to end my song, and breath my last
Was I a good soldier? Did I serve my time well?
Did I save many souls from the torments of hell?

Or did I live in vain,
preaching just grief and pain,
brought by the day that never came?

Close your eyes and cease to try
gnash your teeth and hope to die
The day of reckoning is near
your wealth will turn into despair

Libera me Domine
Veniat dies irae
I curse the day that I heard
The saddest melody on earth

Fear has been my guide
till the autumn of my life
and when I realized the wasted years
I bowed my head and burst to tears

And as the teardrops hit the ground
I heard them make a quiet sound
They fell down into the dirt
and played the saddest melody on earth

Libera me Domine
Veniat dies irae

It was the last time that I heard
The saddest melody on earth

Pics from the Gig at Substage/Minestrone

Here are some impressions from the gig at Substage/Minestrone on 21.1.2023. We introduced a couple of new songs (Father of all Nations, Herra Armahda) and extended the performance with a nice percussion intro to Nefernefer. Great audience and a great venue – we got so much positive feedback on how dynamic the music and the show are. Looking forward to further gigs in 2023!

Pictures from the KI festival in Heilbronn

This gig was special since it was the first one after the long boring corona break. We also had our new bass player Mathias on the stage for the first time. Our show, and the new songs we had worked on during the break, were received very well! Thanks for being there! Looking forward to the upcoming gigs!

Lyrics: The Son of Man

Who earns His love? Who earns salvation?
Who are the chosen? Who are His children?
For love of mankind, God sent his angel
To help us follow, his cryptic scripture

You all are chosen, God loves His children
He lets you suffer, and evil prosper
No one was able, to understand
The cosmic savior, the Son of Man

We all are waiting for, the second coming of,
the righteous Son of Man, to guide his helpless lambs
The heaven opens wide, He steps down from the sky
He lays his hands upon us and reveals the Word:

Watching your failure, His love grew colder
the disappointment, turned into anger
And now I am here, to start all over
The Son of Man, the great destroyer!

We all are waiting for, the second coming of,
the righteous Son of Man, to guide his helpless lambs
The heaven opens wide, He steps down from the sky
He lays his hands on us and uncages the Word

Gig im P8

Als Support für Magic Shoppe (USA) tauchten wir das P8 am 14. Februar in wohlige Dunkelheit. Bei tollem Sound und elektrisiertem Publikum hatten wir einen denkwürdigen Gig. Vielen Dank an PsyKa und das P8 sowie an Jana Schrietter für die Pics.
